AD Discovery Workshop- TUTORIAL ID
The lab Ad Discovery Workshop is about an incubator of youth global leader innovators and communicators. The lab tries to foster a culture of opt-outs that disrupt (namely remake an industry/marketplace), with the art of business making, the living, communicative, material reality and culture of Athens.
At the lab we develop at each session some engaging conversation regarding the Co-Creation mindset and experience, the Startup ecosystem, the Collaborative Consumption, the Sharing Economy, the City Branding, the re-use of the materials, possibilities, abilities of Athens city, the Big Data.
The meaningful life of a person, a city, a lab is a road worth travelling and discovering. So, keeping this in mind, we set on a travel to get acquainted with the basic notions and principles of Advertising, PR and Communication, we travel through the efforts and results of the branding of other cities and we finally try with our projects and proposals about Athens City Branding,to look the Athenian life through the lens of possibilities, to foster a resilient, vigorous Athenian daily civilisation and, most important, to change the perception maps of people living and visiting the city.
Our ambition is that these little projects radiate outward with big messages: Creativity is important, creativity needs real support and this lab is a peer-to-peer learning environment facilitated by the mentor and professor Betty Tsakarestou.
The participating teams take on challenges, curate their digital presence, create impact and responsibility projects and boost the creative confidence of both Athenians and themselves.
Co-evoluting simultaneously their own personal brand through this workshop, they become ready to join the realm of Communication and for those of them who love the workshop the continue at Marketing Co-Creation AD&PR Lab. Students become ready, through action, to build business excellent in this disruptive age.
Finally, in this lesson we are all networked peers, exploiting fully the dynamics, crowd-sourcing, collective intelligence of the students, tutor and all people participating in it. At the same time, in this co-learning environment we interiorize in our efforts all the great technological tools offered and used by all the high class labs and organizations.
We are Ad Discoverers, we are hands-on, in motion learners and our mission is to reframe problems to reveal innovative solutions. It’s time to start up!
